Indications: In addition to simple obesity, it can be used in obese patients with hypertension, diabetes, coronary heart disease and anxiety. After taking the medicine, the patients can adapt to the diet control and have the effect of significantly reducing the accumulation of fat. After 12 weeks of treatment, the average abdominal circumference can be reduced by 10 cm and the average weight loss is 6 kg.
Dosage Usage: Oral: 40mg daily for the first week, 0.5 to 1 hour before breakfast and dinner; 60mg daily for the second and third weeks, 0.5 to 1 hour before morning, lunch and dinner; And the degree of tolerance can continue to maintain the original amount, or gradually increase to 80 ~ 100mg per day (100mg per day is limited to heavier obese people), 8 to 12 weeks for a course of treatment.
Note: 1. Do not take intermittent medication during the treatment period. During the last 4 or 6 weeks of treatment, gradually reduce the dose until the drug is stopped. It is not advisable to stop taking it suddenly. The duration of continuous medication should not exceed 6 months, otherwise it is prone to drug resistance and dependence. 2. Adverse reactions mainly include increased frequency of non-diarrheal stools, mild abdominal pain, dizziness, fatigue, dry mouth, etc., but generally can be tolerated, and continuous medication can be gradually eliminated. There is still sleepiness, depression and nocturia. Those who cannot tolerate should reduce the amount. 3. Patients with depression, epilepsy and pregnant women are hanged. Severe arrhythmia, high-altitude workers and drivers should be used with caution. 4. For obesity patients with hypertension and diabetes, such as the combination of antihypertensive drugs or hypoglycemic agents, synergistic effects can be produced.
Uses: mainly by acting on the nerve center, suppressing appetite and achieving weight loss. Studies have shown that long-term or excessive use of fenfluramine may cause heart valve disease.
